Experience in field of CFD and thermal simulation with multidisciplinary exposure like electronics and automotive components. Interact with Program Engineers, designers and technical services personnel to obtain required inputs for thermal simulation. Check the cooling methodology requirement based on the power dissipation and option availability Conduction, Convection (Natural & Forced convection) and Radiation for the given power dissipation Prepare Thermal model from CAD model. Import EMN/EMP file and assign thermal resistance and power for components. Assign Thermal Conductivity value for PCB and other components. Import Fan and Fan curve details. Prepare cabinet boundary with the specified ambient properties (temperature, conductivity, thermal expansion, specific heat, density, viscosity values). Start the simulation and Post processing the results – Temperature, velocity and pressure. Preparation of detailed thermal report and providing technical recommendations.
