ABOUT SASWATA M.
I am currently working as a Junior Research Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. I have completed my M.Tech in Biotechnology and Medical Engineering (specializing in Biomedical Engineering) from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and my B.Tech in Biotechnology from the Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. My areas of interest are biomaterials, nanomaterials, biofabrication, biomimetics, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine. I have experience working in 3D bioprinting, nanoparticle synthesis, antimicrobial studies, and bioremediation. I am skilled in stem cell, mammalian cell, and microbial cell cultures and various cell-based assays. Additionally, I am proficient in material characterization techniques and trained to handle sophisticated instruments like viscometers and mechanical testers. I was an active Rotaractor and have organized various social service projects. In my free time, I enjoy trivia, debates, photography, and gaming.
