Recruits and refers qualified candidates for position vacancies by reviewing applications/resumes, reviewing references conducted, interviewing prospective employees, attending career and candidate events, and placing appropriate classified and internet advertising by following established guidelines- Conducts intake interviews with hiring leaders to gain an understanding of what a preferred candidate is in terms of skills and experience- Responsible for implementing creative recruitment strategies and solutions (e.g. social media, creative marketing, diversity outlets, etc.) to understand the best places to find the most qualified candidates, based on multiple factors such as geography, role/requisition, etc. Uses discretion and judgment to determine and put in place best practices- Develops, participates and drives projects and initiatives both within region and across the system to provide exposure, career growth, visibility, and opportunities to team members. This may include projects around candidate pipelines that can be replicated in other regions, work study/internship programs, or affirmative action planning requests.
