ABOUT SASKIA HAWKINS
I am a Partner within the EY Managed Services team, based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK. During my 17 years at EY I have done a number of different roles within the compliance and reporting space and I now lead the Finance, Accounting & Payroll Operate business for our Financial Services practice in EMEIA. The EY Accounting Compliance & Reporting team provides bespoke finance function and reporting support to clients in the Financial Services sector. Our primary focus is on core reporting, which includes- Statutory reporting (including iXBRL accounts conversion)- Management reporting (including AP, AR and bookkeeping)- Regulatory reporting (CRD IV, SII, AIFMD, BoE, etc- in XBRL / XML)- Treasury reporting- Payroll reportingWe work closely with our Tax Global Compliance & Reporting practice to provide clients with a full suite of managed services across finance. Our aim is to operate as an extension of a client\'s finance function and we focus on collaborative working with client teams. Our people are based in all of our UK FS offices; in London, Leeds, Newcastle and Edinburgh. Our clients are banks, wealth & asset managers, insurance companies and FinTechs.I am both a Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) and my mixed role at EY has allowed me to leverage the theory I studied and really put it into practice with my clients.
