ABOUT SASKIA MILLMANN
Saskia Millmann is a highly motivated Project Manager and Co-ordinator for Export Activities (Counter-UAS Solutions) at ESG (now HENSOLDT) as well as a Research Affiliate at the University of Glasgow. She is a fast thinking, pragmatic problem solver with experience in managing projects for military and other governmental customers and delivering excellent results in fast pace and high risk environments. Her eight year experience in working in international and intercultural settings enable her to lead diverse teams and navigate communication with different stakeholders. In particular, Saskia has a proven ability to communicate complicated legal issues to lay audiences, and similarly „translate“ between engineers, lawyers, civil servants, and (military) users of technology and defence systems. Furthermore, she has previously given legal advice and evaluations in the fields of IHL and General International Law to governmental departments, in particular the military. Having retained a part-time academic position, her research interests include in particular IHL/LoAC, International Criminal Law, General Public International Law, as well as Jewish and Legal History.
