About Sasikumar Baskaran
As an engineer - airframe structures at Airbus, I propose and justify repair designs for aircraft wing damages in accordance with Airbus standards and airworthiness requirements. I joined Airbus in April 2024, after working as a structural repair engineer at Capgemini Engineering for 10 months, and as an airframe structural repair engineer at AXISCADES for 11 months.I have a bachelor of engineering degree in mechanical engineering from Anna University, and a passion for aerospace engineering. I have gained in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in design assessment, validation, and solutions for aircraft wing components concessions, using various tools and methods such as CATIA V5, VPM, DPDS, SAP, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. I have also collaborated with stress and fatigue colleagues and other engineering teams to provide high-quality and timely deliverables. I am motivated by the challenge and innovation of aerospace engineering, and I aim to contribute to the safety, performance, and efficiency of aircraft design and repair. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as strong technical and problem-solving skills, and a collaborative and supportive attitude.
