I\'ve been working in software development most of my life. I interned at Amazon in the summer of 2009 and have been working full time there for the past 12+ years, where I\'m currently a Principal Engineer and have been since April 2019.My current role is in the recommendations space. I work on systems that solve longstanding customer painpoints such as \"don\'t recommend me the thing I just bought.\" Currently (as of Mar 2022), I am focusing on a company-wide initiative that will make the entire Amazon experience more personalized, particularly for customers that share accounts within their household.
