About Sasha Jason
Currently located in Atlanta, Georgia, Sasha Jason is a Senior at Spelman College pursuing a B.A. in English and Education Studies Minor. Sasha is a UNCF Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, Spelman College Social Justice Fellow, and WELS Scholar. As a student dedicated to improving her professional experince, she aims to branch out into higher education, as shown through her work as a student researcher at Johns Hopkins University this summer, and teaching for The Center Black Educator Development and National Educational Equity Lab. In the future, she aims to acquire a Ph.D, researching popular culture, and specifically the gendered and racialized experiences of Black men. Sasha hopes to enter the world of academia as someone who inspires students and leaves them with a new level of intellectual curiosity.
