About Sasha Bauer
I’m a board-certified genetic counselor. With a foundation in oncology and primary care, I bring experience in patient education, cross-disciplinary collaboration, research, and strategic planning and implementation.I’ve supported national initiatives to advance genetic counseling in primary care, co-founded NSGC’s Primary Care SIG, and co-chair the Precision Medicine SIG. In my clinical role, I work across multidisciplinary teams to optimize genetic testing workflows and improve patient outcomes.I’m also a published author (DOIs: 10.1002/jgc4.70051 and 10.1093/fampra/cmaf049) and nationally recognized speaker on genetics integration to primary care, with growing experience in academic teaching, clinical project coordination, and protocol development.I’m excited by opportunities to bridge clinical care, research, and implementation science to build scalable, equity-driven genomic solutions. I am looking to utilize my skill set in a project management role by leading quality improvement initiatives, developing cross-functional workflows, and advising on genomics program infrastructure.
