I’m a scientist working at the intersection of biology and AI, focused on building high-throughput, AI-guided systems that are powerful, well-evaluated, and responsibly constrained. I care deeply about how increased capability changes risk, and I’ve spent much of my career designing evaluation frameworks, operational controls, and safeguards that make complex biological systems reliable and interpretable.My background in pharmacology and therapeutics began with Alzheimer’s disease research at McGill University, where I developed a strong foundation in mechanistic reasoning, experimental design, and translational thinking.I’ve since worked across clinical diagnostics, microbial systems, and AI-native biology, collaborating closely with scientific, engineering, and regulatory teams. In recent roles, I’ve led AI-guided experimental platforms with an emphasis on anticipating failure modes, enforcing discipline across hardware, software, and experimental design, and ensuring rapid iteration remains grounded in biological plausibility and safety. Well-designed automation has also allowed teams I’ve worked with to reduce unnecessary experimentation, lower material waste, and minimize reliance on animal models without sacrificing scientific rigor.I’m motivated by building scientific systems that scale responsibly—enabling discovery while preserving trust, rigor, and ethical integrity.
