During my tenure, I have helped to grow both staff and budget of the organisation significantly by helping to modernise communications, fundraising and digital systems.Existing programs to advance the energy transition and nature conservation programs in Germany have grown significanly. New programs on global forest protection and international supply chains were developed.

In my 10 years as Executive Director of Deutsche Umwelthilfe a leading German environment and consumer advocacy organization, I have helped to grow both our team and budget, fundamentally reshape marketing and digital operations, expand and build new programs on energy, climate change, nature conservation and land use, as well as improve policy outreach and relevance both nationally, on a European scale and internationally.I am also a founding partner of Ecologic Institute a leading European applied environmental policy think-tank, and currently serve as chair of our corporate board.I am currently a visiting professor at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, an advisory board member of Yale University‘s Emerging Climate Leaders Program as well as of Eberswalde University\'s Institute for Econics and Ecosystem Management
