I am an ambitious, aspiring physician attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a Senior [fourth year] through the National Posse Program, as a New York STEM Posse Scholar & Wisconsin - International Scholar. With a passion for women\'s health in the context of alleviating cultural and systemic healthcare disparities, I am pursuing a career in medicine with an emphasis on advocacy to address the wellbeing of underrepresented communities. I thrive in pursuing my double majors of Neurobiology & Spanish, whilst pursuing endeavors on a global scale through international projects across five continents. Through triple minors of Global Health, Chicana Latina Studies, and Health Policy, I have broadened my educational development as a healthcare professional, with a plethora of perspectives on how to provide world-class, individualized care. My academic foundations are reflected and emulated throughout my professional ventures: from research, to community service, to medical internships that expand my cultural competency.
