About Sascha Castriotta

For over 17 years I gained expertise in both research and product development and I have co-authored several patents that have increased company presence, reduced costs, increased production, and improved business processes. My goal is to apply my ability to innovate, problem solve, improve processes, lead and mentor. Throughout my career, I have embraced innovation, and technical excellence, and have been recognized for my strong work ethic.As a key member of the engineering team, I collaborated with multi-disciplinary teams in the design, development, material specifications, and manufacturing techniques for specialty products. I provided technical support to production, quality, and customer service departments.I am highly skilled in reverse engineering, designing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems, as well as the processes required to manufacture, test, and validate them. I have hands-on experience in manual machining and the tools and process required to manufacture metal, plastic, composites, and more. I can troubleshoot manufacturing problems, support sales, qualify vendors, and support customers. Furthermore, I am proficient with 3D cad software including SolidWorks, PTC Creo Parametric, PTC Creo Direct, and OnShape. I have experience in rapid prototyping and have directed the design and analysis of complex electronically controlled products through the complete product lifecycle. I perform detailed analysis to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. I am experienced in following and maintaining regulatory procedures and documentation needed to bring new products to market. I investigate and diagnose failures or faulty operations, and then work with the required personnel to implement engineering changes or provide recommendations.
