About Saryu Shah

Saryu completed her MBA at Rice University - Jones Graduate School of Business in May 2021. Prior to pursuing her MBA, she worked in the international tax space, with both public accounting and industry experience, focusing on international tax compliance, international tax consulting, transfer pricing, and quarterly financial reporting. Saryu currently works at HP, Inc, where she has been focusing on growing the Channel services business. With the decline in hardware inventory and sales throughout the Pandemic, this is an opportunity to increase services associated with hardware already in the hands of our Partners and customers. As a Program Manager, Saryu works with the development team in developing a roadmap that benefit key stakeholders, creates materials and trains internal stakeholders on the capabilities of the data driven insights, connects with different functional areas to determine leverage points and connection points to make the data more digestible, relevant, and efficient, and evangelizes the value proposition of the procss/program.

   Leading a worldwide internally program developed to review the data on expiring warranty information, determine target partners and distributors to connect with on those opportunities, and drive sales through a closed loop process.• Driving market engagement on how to leverage the internal tool, how to create meaningful conversations with sales stakeholders, determine key features to include in future releases, and strategize on execution efforts.• Creating marketing collateral, videos, trainings, and program guides for internal sales teams and Partners, by market.• Focusing on operationalizing a program based around the tool, developing an end-to-end program around the tool, and serving as a key point of contact for all stakeholders. • Serving as a campus ambassador to the Rice MBA program and HP internship coordinator to recruit, mentor, train and maintain the next generation of HP employees. • Won 1st place in an automation challenge, with three other teammates, as we focused on automating a portion of a highly visible business objective my colleague was driving.• Presented at Rice University to prospective MBA Students applying for summer internship and to lower income high school students attending Rice University for a one-week summer camp on the importance of pursuing a college education.
