At Charter Communications, I led automation initiatives for robust API and UI testing, leveraging Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber to build scalable test suites and execute end-to-end testing across complex systems. I conducted extensive API validation using Rest Assured and Postman, integrated within a CI/CD pipeline powered by Jenkins, Maven, and Git. The hybrid automation framework I maintained incorporated Gherkin-based feature files, positive/negative test scenarios, and generated HTML test reports via TestNG annotations.I also championed service virtualization using Parasoft Virtualize, crafting virtual APIs, configuring Parasoft Virtualize Assets (PVAs), and creating Parasoft Data Repositories to mimic real-time business workflows. By implementing data source correlations, responder logic, and deploying virtual services to the CTP server, I accelerated early-stage testing and reduced dependency on backend availability. My efforts directly improved test coverage and decreased turnaround time for defect resolution.
