ABOUT SARTHAK KHANDARE
I\'m passionate about securing critical infrastructure by emulating adversarial threats and strengthening operational technology (OT) environments. My work revolves around offensive security simulations and adversarial attack chain development for industrial control systems (ICS) and OT. I design and execute breach scenarios targeting SCADA, PLCs, and legacy OT protocols (like Modbus and DNP3) to uncover vulnerabilities in energy, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure systems, while mapping kill chains for ransomware, supply chain compromises, and lateral movement in air-gapped OT networks. I also develop custom Python and C++ tools to detect ICS-specific exploits. With a B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, I blend industrial expertise with cybersecurity skills and lead sessions on OT & ICS protocol vulnerabilities and defending and understanding legacy industrial systems. Passionate about securing the backbone of our world against the risks posed by outdated protocols and IT/OT convergence, I welcome connections from professionals in industrial cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, and offensive OT research.
