ABOUT SAROJ KUMAR
As a B.Tech student in Materials Engineering at IIT Jodhpur, I contribute to cutting-edge semiconductor research through hands-on experience at DRDO. My current project focuses on fabricating and characterizing ultra-thin thermoelectric cooling modules using nanostructured Bi₂Te₃-based materials. I utilize advanced techniques such as ball milling, hot pressing, and brush-painting, alongside analytical tools like XRD, SEM, and Seebeck measurements, to evaluate thermoelectric performance. At IIT Jodhpur, I also collaborate on optimizing solar cell structures using SCAPS-1D simulations, analyzing photovoltaic parameters, and improving device efficiency through material passivation techniques. Combining academic rigor with practical expertise, I am committed to advancing sustainable technologies for portable electronics and renewable energy applications.
