I build the brains of the grid. From ERCOT’s control room to advanced DMS/EMS algorithms for utilities, I design software and optimization tools that help Texas (and the U.S.) keep the lights on, and a bit more smarter, faster, and cleaner.With a background in Electrical Engineering + Energy Systems/ECE, I love turning messy, high-stakes grid problems into elegant solutions rooted in optimization, control theory, and real-time simulation. I have worked in academic labs and in industry at the intersection of math, code, and megawatts by building real-time models, forecasting engines, and next-gen grid tech used by operators and utilities.I have developed power-flow engines, enhanced fault isolation and restoration methods, volt-var control algorithms, load-forecasting platforms, DER/DG integration tools, and HiL/SiL simulations; shipped core energy and distribution management focused features; guided cross-functional teams; and earned multiple research awards. And yes! I still get excited about a good state estimator :)At heart, I’m a builder.
