A trailblazer in hospitality, Sarita Tabarez is a Latina woman & native New Yorker whose career has been defined by creativity, entrepreneurial drive, & an instinct for elevating guest experiences. She has worked alongside industry icons such as Ian Schrager, Alan Faena, Sean McPherson & Amy Sacco & spent over a decade shaping The Sterns’ GrandLife properties (Roxy Hotel & Soho Grand) into cultural landmarks of downtown New York.From 2021, Sarita brought her expertise to NeueHouse Flagship, the acclaimed private work & social club. During her tenure, she amplified the brand’s visibility & reach, cultivating an elevated member experience of that of a 5 STAR hotel experience. She integrated workspace, cultural programming, & hospitality seamlessly. She collaborated with renowned architect David Rockwell on a Dolby-certified cinema & podcast studio, launched a member\'s cafe, restaurant, bar & lounge, conference rooms & sq ft of private offices. Sarita forged partnerships with Cinema Society, Amazon, Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, Focus Features & Tribeca Film Festival, for screenings & movie premieres positioning NH as a nexus for creativity & connection.Prior to NH, Sarita excelled as General Manager for The Roxy Hotel, overseeing all operational disciplines, from front office, housekeeping to sales, marketing, & F&B, & implementing initiatives that enhanced the guest journey while protecting asset value. Her leadership produced record occupancy & revenue performance, strengthened brand loyalty, & cemented the hotel’s reputation as a boutique destination for culture & nightlife. During her time, Roxy was awarded as the #1 hotel in the American Express Hotel Collection in NYC.Sarita’s global influence was honed during her years with Faena Group, where, as VP of Business Development, she launched the award-winning Faena Hotel Miami Beach & repositioned Faena Hotel Buenos Aires on an international stage. Earlier in her career, she rose through The Ian Schrager Company to the Global VP. Here she oversaw high-profile events, collaborated with artists, musicians, & actors, & solicited strategic sponsorship partners. Through her event curation, she kept the brand relevant.A true innovator & mentor, Sarita is known for her hands-on leadership style & her ability to inspire teams to pursue excellence while infusing their work with passion and creativity.
