I am a Partner in Linklaters’ Dispute Resolution Practice, advising on a wide range of contentious matters, with a particular focus on complex, high-value (often funded) competition litigation and class actions before the English courts and the Competition Appeal Tribunal. I am also Chair of the ICC Global Competition Commission\'s task force on antitrust damages claims.My recent experience includes:> acting for a leading payment scheme in relation to numerous “stand alone” litigation proceedings brought by major retailers alleging that multilateral interchange fees on card transactions were levied in breach of Article 101 and/or Article 102 TFEU (and various domestic competition laws);> acting for a leading payment scheme in respect of two class actions brought against it under the UK collective actions regime (one opt-in, one opt-out) relating to interchange fees;> acting for a large tech company in defence of an abuse of dominance class action relating to its online store;> acting for a defendant regarding Part 20 contribution proceedings brought in the UK in relation to damages actions following from the power cables cartel;> acting for a defendant in relation to competition damages claims brought in the UK in relation to FX trading;> acting for a large payment scheme in relation to a competition damages claim brought in the UK in relation to ATM transaction rules;> advising a defendant in relation to litigation relating to the car parts cartels;> advising a defendant in respect of claims arising from the European Commission\'s AdBlue decision; and> advising several clients in the pharmaceutical and automotive sectors in relation to competition law investigations by the European Commission and the Competition and Markets Authority, as well as associated litigation risk.
