About Sarina Khami
Hi, I’m Sarina! I’m a pre-medical student at the University of Washington, graduating in 2027. I’ve gained meaningful experience through my work as a Research Assistant with the University of Rochester Medical Center, where I contribute to a multi-institutional scoping review on quality indicators for sickle cell disease. I also volunteer at Seattle Children’s Hospital, helping create a supportive, play-based environment for patients and their families.I’m currently seeking opportunities to broaden my clinical and research experience. I’m especially interested in gaining hands-on exposure through CNA roles, clinical shadowing, and work in wet laboratory settings to strengthen my understanding of healthcare and prepare for a future career in medicine. Outside of school, I enjoy playing piano, reading sci-fi novels, and settling in for a good movie!
