About Sariah Campopiano

My love for solving complex problems and puzzles started when I was just a kid. Before going to bed, my dad made solving math problems into a fun bedtime game. He did it in such a way that I\'ve always found it more enjoyable than tedious to seek out solutions to difficult situations, be that a math equation, a puzzle, a riddle, or anything in between. The first time I had any inclination toward software development was during my first year of marriage. My husband and I worked together to figure out how we wanted to manage a shared budget then searched for an app that fit our needs. None existed that did what we wanted, so we decided to look into building one ourselves. At the time other priorities led us to create our own google sheets program rather than a full-fledged app. I\'ve since spent time doing using online resources to self-learn coding, and have been fascinated by the ways programming and technology can be used to solve problems or fulfill different needs. The process of writing code has been an exciting and wonderful call back to the math games I used to play with my father. Recently I decided to take my learning a step further by enrolling in the Nashville Software School\'s jumpstart program and loved every minute. I look forward to continuing to develop my skills and breaking into this industry!
