Sari McClure entered the field of legal search in 1988, as Founding Director of the San Francisco office of a major legal search firm. Under her guidance and direction, McClure established what was to become, by many observers, one of the leading legal search firms in Northern California. Known for successfully placing high profile partners and groups into law firms, McClure went on to co-found the legal search firm that bears her name in April 1995. During the course of her career, McClure has assisted in opening the offices of several national law firms in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. She has completed numerous placements of partners, partner groups and associates into Northern California law firms and beyond, and has placed in-house counsel in companies. McClure has been a participant at industry seminars on attorney hiring and retention and is quoted regularly in legal publications. In her prior career, McClure was Director of Economic Development for the entrepreneurial city of Visalia, California. During an eight-year period, McClure successfully brought major industry to Visalia, thereby creating hundreds of new jobs for local residents. Anheuser Busch and Colombo Yogurt were two such companies McClure recruited. As part of her responsibilities, McClure interfaced with many attorneys in connection with the issuance of multi-million dollar tax exempt municipal revenue bonds. In addition to her business responsibilities, McClure is an active member in community-based organizations and her activities include serving on the boards of several philanthropic organizations.
