I have been a content writer since 2010, right out of business school. The experience of getting a sales job right out of campus demonstrated to me in a very few days that marketing pods that find the right words would be my \"shell to sell\" rather than outright in-person sales efforts. In the first years of Web 2.0, I broke into the framing of SEO articles, web content, blogs, and press releases. Moving away from a full-time job didn\'t mean distance from writing, for me. Freelancing for 7 years straight, I did product descriptions, in-depth first-person reviews, and revelatory articles based on primary research. Sales pages led me to copywriting. One lone client even had me writing copy for his snack packs. You see, language as the mainstay meant I could turn my hand at social media captions and posts as soon as they came in vogue. I wrote eBooks for a seasoned marketer who turned them into lead magnets. My style of writing is based on copious research and methodical editing. Iteratively, I curate thought overloads and tease out the copy that matches client briefs, tone of voice requirements, and offer bucketloads of nuance to the audience that needs it. I operate in HRTech, Fintech, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Business Management, Learning & Development, Human Resource Development niches primarily. One of my focus areas has been Fintech. The Fintech focus: July 2021 to September 2022 (Full-time): From my HR Tech Marketing role, I moved into marketing an international payments product. I wrote product and sales copy, articles about remittance challenges, and strategic partnerships that solved specific challenges. Thought-leadership articles and interview-based articles and blogs were my mainstay during this period. October 2022 to May 2023 (Full-time): I moved into a content management role in a mortgage company\'s marketing team. Again, I was in charge of both long-form and short-form writing. I learned all about their AWS-based tech-stack, and also made up their editorial calendar for blogs and social posts. My current contract has been since June 2023 to present (consultant role), is with an HR-focused financial wellness firm: They follow a B2B2C model, but I work primarily in the B2B vertical, marketing their online and offline events and brand-building efforts. The rest of my writing: Hobbies & Outdoors, Food & Beverage, Entertainment & Event Planning, Lifestyle, Parenting, Relationships & Dating, and Health & Healthcare consulting niches. I write on virtually any topic and niche.
