As a Scrum Master, working on various projects for the Canadian Banking line of business within Scotiabank. Key duties include: • Facilitate scrum events (daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, sprint retros, and sprint planning) • Facilitate trouble-shooting meetings between cross-functional teams • Facilitate scrum of scrums for multi-team projects • Work across various bank’s line of business teams to enable agile work styles • Record, track, and monitor timelines and track the team’s delivery (performance) • Set up, configure, maintain, and update Jira and Confluence tools • Report on team performance metrics, velocity, burndown charts,# of impediments, lead & cycle time • Constantly look for ways to optimize team delivery flow • Always looking for ways to coach the team to allow them to reach their highest potential, and champion change • Facilitate & conduct effective working sessions to drive problem-solving • Effectively work through conflict and de-escalates difficult situations • Diplomatically navigate the complex and controversial discussion
