Responsible for all purchasing activities for marine vessels and associate division within the Group and its associate operations.\\\\nEnsure that all purchasing activities are carried out in accordance to the organization’s purchasing guidelines and procedures.\\\\nTo establish framework agreements with suppliers and ensure relevant goods and services are purchased under such agreements whenever possible.\\\\nSource, identify and purchase technical and operational supplies required for marine activities at the right quality and competitive price.\\\\nNegotiate with suppliers to deliver best results for the company.\\\\nTo conduct periodic vendors appraisals and price comparisons.\\\\nResponsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of the CFM purchasing system.\\\\nTo assist other business units within the Group in the region in their purchasing efforts and adherence to purchasing procedures.\\\\nEnsure that proper cost/benefits evaluations are made prior to bringing forward any recommendations.\\\\nOversee and ensure that all invoices are correctly matched to PO and DO.\\\\nOversee and ensure that all invoices are approved by the relevant person and passed to accounts in a timely manner.\\\\nProvide suggestions/feedbacks for the improvement of the execution of tasks and working instructions.\\\\nUndertake any ad-hoc duties/responsibilities as and when required.\\\\nSourced spares & stores from India, Japan, China, Europe, Singapore, UAE, etc.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
