ABOUT SARF AHMED
Sarf is a board director and management consultant with diverse senior management experience. He currently provides strategic advice in public administration, financial management, project governance, facilities management, human resources, procurement and shared services. He also provides interim executive services during periods of transition to public sector organizations. He has extensive experience of leading complex organizations, setting vision, developing strategy, leading people and executing for results. Sarf retired from BC Government in 2018 as an Associate Deputy Minister. During his 26 year career with the BC Public Service he held senior positions in various ministries. He was a member of the Deputy Ministers Council of BC from 2013 to 2017. For his varied contributions to public service he was awarded the Queen\'s Golden Jubilee Medal and Award for Meritorious Service to BC Government.Sarf\'s experience, common sense and practical approach to problem solving and listening ability made him a trusted advisor He is currently Interim Vice President Corporate Services /CFO for BC Housing and on the Board of Directors of Land Title and Survey Authority of BC and Knowledge Network Corporation - British Columbia’s public broadcaster.
