As a CDM Principal Designer and Health & Safety Adviser, I bring extensive experience in managing diverse construction projects across both the private and public sectors. My portfolio includes the construction of commercial buildings, housing developments, and schools, as well as the refurbishment of NHS buildings to facilitate equipment upgrades and service enhancements. I have also contributed to projects within the defence sector.I work closely with clients, design teams, and construction teams to ensure that risks related to construction and long-term maintenance are thoroughly assessed and addressed. My responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on drawings, design risk registers, and construction-related documents to promote effective risk management. I also conduct health and safety site inspections to validate the implementation of documented processes, review risk assessments, and deliver actionable recommendations with clear timelines to improve safety standards.On the consultancy side, I take a personalised approach, investing time to understand each business, its operations, and its team. This enables me to develop tailored, effective health and safety management plans. My services include assisting with the creation and review of key H&S documents, evaluating existing policies and procedures, and providing strategic feedback to enhance overall health and safety performance.In addition to supporting clients, I continuously evaluate and refine our internal processes and services to ensure we provide the most up-to-date and effective support. By proactively reviewing and refreshing our offerings, I ensure that our team consistently delivers high-quality, relevant guidance to meet client needs.My mission is to embed health and safety as a core priority for the organisations I work with, enabling them to not only meet compliance requirements but also excel in fulfilling their H&S responsibilities.
