I design health systems that place dignity at the center — shaped by clinical practice, public-sector leadership, and research across climate-stressed, low-resource settings.My work focuses on the intersection of climate resilience, maternal and caregiver mental health, disability inclusion, and digital innovation. As a clinician and Harvard Visiting Scientist, I build practical, scalable solutions grounded in lived experience and systems-level evidence.My path includes service as State Public Health Consultant Head in Tamil Nadu, guiding emergency strategy for 7.8M people and strengthening EMS training for 5,500 paramedics; leading Tele-MANAS, India’s national mental health helpline reaching 369K+ individuals; and advancing functioning-based maternal mental health research across 38 districts in South India.I collaborate with governments, multilateral institutions, and research centers, including roles as Advisor (Wellcome Trust, WHO, NSF/MITRE) and expert contributor with the UNDRR and UNESCO Inclusive Policy Lab.Today, I focus on climate-linked maternal mental health, disability-inclusive care systems, and AI-enabled tools that help communities adapt to rising environmental and social stressors.I welcome collaboration on:• Climate-resilient and disability-inclusive health systems• Maternal mental health and functioning research• AI and digital innovation for public health• Global health strategy and policy partnershipsIf your work aligns with these priorities, I’d be glad to connect.
