I also working large public Companies as Director Accounting. I am a revenue recognition specialist with ASC 606 implementation experience. My present employer has adopted ASC 606 and I was leading the adoption. Prior to this at Google I led the adoption of ASC 606 for the business unit to which I managed accounting. I am a Certified Public Accountant licensed in California and a Chartered Accountant in India with over 7 years of experience in Industry and about 14 years in Public accounting auditing public and private companies. My experience includes over five years in the technology, media and telecommunications practice of Deloitte’s Silicon Valley practice in San Jose, California and nine years in Deloitte’s audit practice in Chennai, India.In Silicon Valley, I worked extensively with technology companies ranging from newly formed start-ups to publicly-held global enterprises operating primarily in the software, telecommunications and semiconductor industries.
