Sarath Chennareddy as Global Head of Engineering organized and managing a global team of 75 professionals comprising of software architects & developers, quality assurance engineers, database developers and database administrators. Responsible for all software development, quality assurance and delivery of products & solutions to clients. Prior to assuming the current responsibility in March 2013, Sarath was Global Head of Development at Portware and some of his accomplishments in that role are:• Designed and implemented all key parts of high frequency, low latency multi-asset trading platform from ground zero. Responsible for architecting all aspects of the system and coded large parts of the server, GUI trading client, Application Programming Interface (API), trading algorithms such as Pairs, VWAP, TWAP, Volume Participation etc, drivers for FIX connectivity, integration with several dark pools, market data integration with Bloomberg, Reuters, Wombat and Comstock, aggregation of FX prices from 20 banks and 4 ECNS and FX trading algorithms such as Sweep, TWAP, POST etc. The platform supports trading of Equities, Futures, FX and Options and is used by many of world’s largest and most sophisticated trading firms comprising of institutional investment firms, alternative asset managers, quantitative hedge funds, principal and agency traders.• Worked closely with hedge fund and Investment banking clients to provide customized trading solutions and integrate the trading system with their back end systems.• Set up offshore development center in India and built a team of 70 professionals that saved company a lot on technology budget.Prior to joining Portware, Sarath was at IIT Bombay India, where he worked on his Ph.D. in Engineering.
