ABOUT SARAN RUKIYA
I am a kinetic, visual learner, and dynamic in my approach.I contribute creative outlooks within a team, and able to work autonomously and cross-functionally under demanding circumstances. I would describe myself as multifaceted, flexible, and honest. I believe it necessary to take into consideration shifts within the economy, social perspectives, and how this impact affects demand for apparel, trends, and ecommerce within the retail industry. I completed Level 4 Fashion Buying and Merchandising at the Fashion Retail Academy, achieving a Distinction. This resulted in the development of my editing, numerical, and analytical skills. I utilised marketing, and trend forecasting platforms such as Edited and WGSN in conjunction with Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to communicate and support my visual direction.I previously studied Fashion Design at London College of Fashion. As such, aesthetics and attention to detail come naturally to me, and I thrive in a fast-paced industry such as fashion. It is instinctive, requires initiative, and demands a presence, where making intuitive decisions is focal to meeting deadlines and project criteria.
