As Program Manager, I wear many hats on a small but mighty team dedicated to increasing access to capital and business education across Utah. We serve small business owners who are underserved by traditional lenders, including those from low-to-moderate-income communities and rural areas. My role combines education, outreach, advising, community engagement, and grant strategy. Education & Advising- Lead the development, coordination, and delivery of all UMLF business education programs, including twice-monthly live virtual classes, a digital library of 60+ recorded trainings, and the 15-week Banking on Women entrepreneurship course- Provide ongoing advising to our clients- Manage scheduling, instructor recruitment, class materials, feedback loops, and education reporting.Outreach & Marketing- Handle all branding, outreach, and communications for the organization, including our website, social media, digital presence, and monthly newsletters- Create all internal/external design materials including flyers, reports, and graphics- Plan and participate in outreach events statewide, including as an exhibitor, panelist, pitch judge, and speaker.Community Engagement & Leadership- Lead and facilitate our quarterly Community Advisory Board, ensuring that our programs remain community-informed and accessible across all 29 counties- Serve on advisory boards for partner organizations to represent UMLF and increase collaboration across the small business support ecosystem- Build and maintain a statewide referral network through partnerships, event participation, and relationship development.Grants & Reporting- Contribute to grant writing and reporting for corporate and government funders, with a focus on communicating program impact and outcomes- Track program data, manage CRM records, and help produce materials like our annual report.I believe deeply in economic justice and work every day to make entrepreneurship more accessible across Utah
