ABOUT SARA LUSINI
Social Artist and New media specialist based in Tuscany, specialized in migrations field, social photography and new media research. Since 2020 I decide to change my life and move to Fattoria di Germagnano where I work as creative director in slow turism field and Artistic project manager in rural context. Since 2010 I organise partecipative workshops and visual storytelling path focused on self-representation trought foto editing and book design. I stared working with the Roma communities settled in Est Romania countryside combining local mediator support and photographic investigation. There was born the long term project LA MIA INQUADRATURA a big photography Lab for children from many different social context that It took place in Italy, Spain, France, until the rural areas next to Medellin, Colombia. In the last years I co-founded SelfBook Project with the support of Umbria Region and Perugia Social Photo Fest. SelfBook is collaborative workshop for teenagers reflecting on self representation in the digital era. I worked with asylum seekers mostly women from West Africa and I started with them the editorial project NICE PIC BRO supported by Umbria Film Festival, Arci, Museo Civico Palazzo della Penna Perugia.
