I provide a wide range of services to non-profits in the human services and youth development field. These include: Research/Evaluation -Researcher, consultant, National Institute on Out-of-School Time, Wellesley College -Evaluator for the Missouri Community College Consortium -Validator and researcher for Manhattan Strategy Group for several US ED-funded projects -Technical Reviewer for U.S. Programs for ChildFund International-Evaluation team member for Keep Kids Learning summer program, City of Chicago-Evaluator for Schools Out Washington. Professional Development/Technical Assistance -Conducted series in Appreciative Inquiry for nonprofit managers at SCO Family of Services -Provided training and on-site technical assistance for staff of afterschool programs in NYC, including workshops, institutes and seminars-Provided training and on-site technical assistance to 12 community based youth development organizations in Nassau County using the NYSAN quality assessment tool; Writing/Editing -Curriculum: National Urban League -Editor, Out-of-School Time Hub, Youth Today -Technical writer,\"Lessons from the Field Guides\" focused on 21st CCLCs funded by the U.S. Department of Education-Managing editor Afterschool Matters journal-Documented and wrote white paper on exemplary youth programs, in Rosebud Reservation, South Dakota, and Belarus, Eastern Europe for ChildFund International-Wrote proposals and reports for Child Care Inc, ChildFund International, and other nonprofits-Edited an evaluation of a city-wide afterschool initiative in Rhode Island for Public/Private Ventures -Co-wrote youth development curriculum guide for National Urban League. Management -Managed the Long Island Partnership for Afterschool Education (LIPASE), a county-wide technical assistance and training network. Conducted outreach, facilitated meetings, and contracted for services with other trainers and organizations-Managed the Afterschool Matters Initiative, for the Robert Bowne Foundation (now based at National Institute on Out of School Time, Wellesley College)
