About Saral Agarwal
I have 25 years of professional experience. Most of it has been within the Banking/ Investment Banking industry where I have been employed with market leaders like Morgan Stanley, Deutsche, JP Morgan, Lehman and Citi affiliate in their India Operations entities. I am part of Derivative Operations in India (since Jan 2014), heading Trade Support and Trade Capture Review groups cross asset (covering Equity Derivatives and Fixed Income Derivatives). Processes managed are critical T0-T1 trade support functions and key trade capture control functions for Structured and Exotic trades cross asset. These functions are key controls in ensuring trader risk representation and external confirmations are in line for the cross asset Exotic products and includes calculation and correct representation of payoffs in firm’s risk and confirmation systems. The role entails an overall span of approx. 55 people with 4 direct reports (3 VP’s). Prior to this, I was responsible for Vendor Management and Outsourcing Governance for Operations.
