About Sara Ross

The problems we choose to work on matter. For me, the work that has been meaningful for the last decade, and will continue to be meaningful for the rest of my career, is work on climate. A decade ago I founded a solar finance company that disrupted the conventional model and wisdom in that segment. Today, Sungage Financial continues to help homeowners and small businesses across the country unlock the value proposition of rooftop solar. Most recently, I have become awakened by the opportunity and the moral imperative to unleash the transformative power of taking climate action in our schools. As a parent, I have the daily opportunity to see the world through the eyes, brains, and hearts of today\'s young people. We must be brave enough to engage in that conversation knowing that we could have done more and yet hopeful about what we can do together moving forward.I believe in the power of story-telling. I don\'t stop easily. I\'m always looking for a better way. My best moments are ones when I\'m pulling hard on an oar perfectly in sync with a team.
