I’m a Midwestern-born-and-raised commercial interior designer.When people ask me what I do for a living, I tell them the truth: I solve problems. I think strategically and creatively about how a space can function, is aesthetically pleasing, and can help clients elevate to their absolute highest potential. As an interior designer, I know I can make a difference in people’s lives and the spaces they thrive in. Design is not only career, but a lifestyle.My passion is in education design and the ways it can change how our children learn and grow in today’s society. I also remain open-minded and open-hearted to other markets and the ways that I can make a positive impact on their spaces. I’m a forward-thinker who likes researching, and I love learning new and innovative solutions for the challenges of today and tomorrow.I believe that diversity and culture shape us as humans. I love the way design brings people together – from diverse client interactions, to everyday banter with coworkers, there is nothing else in the world like the culture of interior design. The absolute greatest reward of being a designer, though, is that look on the face of a client when they see their finished space for the very first time. That look and feeling alone make the whole journey completely worth it, and continue to inspire me to do better every single day.
