Responsible for leading all finance and accounting work streams in support of mergers and acquisitions, with a specific focus on pre-close integration planning and ensuring the organization is fully prepared to operationalize acquired entities from a financial perspective on Day 1 and beyond- Lead development of integration roadmaps, timelines, and milestone tracking for finance-related activities- Develop and execute integration matrix for M&A transactions and agree on key deadlines with all Accounting and Finance stakeholders - Oversee system readiness planning, including ERP compatibility and integrations, data migration, financial reporting structure, and cutover approach- Monitor and report integration progress, risks, and decision needs to Finance and Executive Leadership- Support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures in alignment with PCAOB standards- Drive the financial statement uplift and operational process improvements to transition from AICPA (or other basis of accounting) to PCAOB accounting standards- Work cross-functionally with the CFO and Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, and external auditors - Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls over financial reporting (ICOFR)- Collaborate with external auditors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant filings- Monitor and assess new regulations and accounting standards and implement changes as necessary- Assist with mergers and acquisitions including due diligence, purchase price accounting and integration and preparation of financial statements related to acquisitions, as applicable- Act as a subject matter expert in accounting and finance policy and procedures, ensuring compliance across the organization- Coordinate the alignment and harmonization of accounting and finance policies, financial controls, and compliance frameworks
