ABOUT SARAH JACOBSON

Culture-obsessed creative director who writes novels in her spare time. For the last 6 years, I co-led omnichannel creative for Plan B (yes, that one!), Breathe Right, Dimetapp, and more. During that time, our team grew Plan B 10% year over year, had language so clear our competitors quite literally stole it, and shot multiple 360 campaigns. I’ve also been responsible for:* Breathing new life into Breathe Right—a legacy brand your dad probably used—increasing both awareness and sales* Creating an entirely UGC-based campaign for Dimetapp that made the most of a very small budget* Overseeing the creation of 300+ pieces of paid + organic social content in a single year* Multiple pitches a year in which I oversaw freelance teams, concepted + guided the work, and presented it liveI particularly enjoy:* Conceptual work * Video * Radio/podcast reads* Social mediaI’ve written about everything from overpriced sofas to emergency contraception, and believe no project is too small to sing. As a manager, I push the work by empowering people to be their best and brightest selves, and lead with empathy over all. Outside the office, I write a weekly Substack newsletter with 2500+ subscribers, as well as a lifestyle-focused Instagram account followed by 13.5k folks I\'m certain are the best humans on the internet. I’m also hard at work on selling my first novel, and writing my second. In my free time, you’ll find me whipping up more baked goods than I can possibly eat myself, tearing through flea markets like it’s supermarket sweep, and running up and down the East River.
