About Sarah Wells
As an Olympic hurdler and Pan Am Silver Medalist, I have learned how to overcome hurdles both literally and figuratively. During my pursuit of the London Olympics, I was sidelined for months just the year before due to injury, but was able to finish as an Olympic semi-finalist and one of the youngest competitors in the field. There is a whole other story about when I pursued my second Olympic games, but let\'s save that for when we chat :) More recently you might have seen me pushing my limits on the latest season of the Amazing Race Canada, where I was able to apply my tactics of resilience in a whole new kind of race. Outside of competitive sports, I coach people to pursue their goals through the Believe Initiative, an organization I founded on—fittingly—a message of resilience. Through the Believe Initiative, I have helped over students across North America understand the importance of being resilient and the power of believing in themselves. In the corporate world, I have worked with organizations such as Salesforce, Deloitte, Proctor and gamble, Kraft-Heinz, Bell Media, and RBC on how to build more resilient teams through keynotes and customized workshops.
