ABOUT SARAH W. BROUDY

Sarah Broudy is a nonprofit professional with fifteen years of experience in the public sector and a background in fundraising and philanthropy, community organizing, and advocacy. Recognizing that people are our greatest resource, Sarah takes a person-centered approach to social change. She specializes in major gifts, campaigns, and donor engagement and has significant experience in institutional giving. She joined the National Partnership for Women and Families as the Director of Individual Philanthropy in September 2023. She is responsible for developing and executing the strategy for individual philanthropy as well as overseeing the team dedicated to individual donors, including major gifts, membership, annual giving, and planned giving. As Associate Director at LAPA, she assessed clients\' current fundraising efforts and operations. Serving as a Trusted Advisor to her clients’ senior leadership, Sarah designed strategies and project plans to enhance systems, launch campaigns, and build best-in-class development programs. Before joining LAPA, Sarah served as the Director of Development at the National Council of Jewish Women New York, where she helped the 125-year-old organization update and enhance its fundraising strategies and systems, resulting in increases in individual giving by 68% and institutional funding by 60%. Originally from Metro-Detroit, Sarah received her BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Master of Public Administration Nonprofit Management and a Master of Hebrew and Judaic studies at NYU through the Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service and the Skirball Department\'s dual MPA-MA program. After more than a decade as a New Yorker, Sarah now resides in the Philadelphia area with her husband.
