The organization is dedicated to delivering patient-centered, high-quality academic medicine with compassion, equity, and excellence.As a Clinical Care Technician, I work as a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care to patients. I work with other members of the nursing unit such as nurses, doctors, and other Clinical Care Technicians. In the Post-Coronary Care unit, the patient population ranges from patients who are recovering from severe cardiac events to those managing chronic conditions such as cystic fibrosis. Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, skin care, and oral hygiene. Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs monitoring, EKGs, and phlebotomy, ensuring accuracy and patient safety. Collaborate with nursing staff to implement and adjust patient care plans, delivering age-appropriate care to achieve safe and effective outcomes. Foster clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams to enhance the patient experience and improve care coordination.
