ABOUT SARAH SELECKY
I am the author of three critically acclaimed books: Story Is a State of Mind, a guide to whole-minded writing, Radiant Shimmering Light, which Kirkus Reviews called “A killer satire… and a funny, tender, gimlet-eyed dive into the cult of self improvement.” and Giller Prize-nominated This Cake Is for the Party, which The New York Times called “utterly fascinating.” My books have earned praise from the New York Times, BUST, Marie Claire, Chatelaine, The Washington Post, Kirkus Reviews, and Publisher\'s Weekly, among others, and Radiant Shimmering Light was optioned by Amy Adams for a television series on HBO. I am also the founder of the Sarah Selecky Writing School (est. 2011), which is now a creative community for thousands of writers from around the world.
