ABOUT SARAH SCHERMER
I lead global clinical operations for class medical devices in the US, EU, Japan, and APAC. My work sits at the intersection of operational complexity, quality, and patient access, managing multi-regional CRO partnerships, building site relationships, and keeping trials on track across regulatory environments that don\'t always align.Over 12 years in clinical research, I\'ve built operations for Class II and devices (including SaMD). I\'ve also worked with Phase II–IV pharma programs covering vaccines, biologics, and pediatrics. I\'m drawn to organizations where the science is strong and the operational challenge matches it.Outside of work, I love to travel, attend lectures and art exhibits that catch my attention, and volunteer teaching English as a Foreign Language. I share my home with my spouse, a rescue hound, and two cats who remain thoroughly unimpressed by any of this.
