ABOUT SARAH SANTIAGO
I\'m a healthcare IT and operations leader with 14 years of healthcare management experience, including 7 years at Health First, one of Florida\'s largest integrated delivery networks. My work sits at the intersection of technology, people, and process, helping clinical and operational teams get the most out of the systems they use every day.In my current role as Epic Manager of Application Support, I oversee a team of analysts supporting Epic Ambulatory modules across the IDN. I focus on making sure the right people have the right support, projects move efficiently, and our technology investments actually deliver value to providers and patients. Before moving into Epic, I spent nearly two and a half years in Practice Optimization, advancing from Consultant to Supervisor to Operations Manager, where I led EMR workflow redesigns, coached optimization consultants, and partnered across Quality, Revenue Operations, Coding, and Informatics to improve adoption and outcomes at the practice level.I hold an MBA in Healthcare Analytics from USF, a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, and I\'m currently completing my EpicCare Ambulatory Certification. I\'m bilingual in English and Spanish, which has been a meaningful asset working within diverse patient and staff populations.I\'m passionate about building teams that feel supported, designing systems that actually work for end users, and using data to drive decisions that improve care delivery. If you\'re working on similar challenges or just want to connect with someone in healthcare IT, I\'d love to hear from you.
