ABOUT SARAH THOMAS
I previously worked in the field of biology as a research assistant at McGill and later as the Biosafety Specialist at Brown University, where I realized my true passion for bicycling while commuting to and from Brown. I focused on bicycle transportation as the topic for my master\'s thesis, and shortly after completing it I left my job at Brown to pursue a more adventurous lifestyle. This path led me to a variety of bike-related jobs including pedicabbing, bike tour guide, bike mechanic and bike advocate. I maintain a blog called nomadiccycling where I document my adventures - my goal is to bike around the world and sail across the oceans.
