DEQ is the primary environmental regulatory agency in Virginia. I design and produce visual content that supports the agency\'s outreach, engagement and communications efforts. I collaborate with technical staff, leadership and the communications team to create graphics, infographics and other visual tools that effectively convey complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences, including the public, stakeholders, and policymakers. In addition to design work, I manage projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality communication materials, assist with internal and external communications, and contribute to DEQ’s social media and media outreach efforts. My role helps drive clear, impactful communication to support DEQ’s mission of protecting Virginia’s environment.Some notable accomplishments and duties include- Creating an automated request management tool using Power Automate and a SharePoint List with a workflow to manage Communications requests submitted by staff- Manage website CMS and 90 web contributors by implementing workflows and holding monthly meetings- Write, edit, format and send weekly report to Secretariat, newsletters, press releases and website content
