I’m driven by a simple belief: when people grow, organizations thrive.My career began in marketing, where for 17 years I led strategy, brand development, and communications across insurance, automotive, and e-commerce industries. Along the way, I found myself increasingly drawn to the people side of business—mentoring, teaching, and building programs that help others succeed. That passion led me to transition into learning and development.Now, as Director of Education and Professional Development for Amwins’ Benefits Division, I design training that goes beyond check-the-box learning. I focus on programs that inspire, engage, and equip employees to perform at their best—whether that’s a new salesperson learning the ropes, a leader developing emotional intelligence, or a team strengthening collaboration.I also believe in giving back. Through my role on the Union Academy Foundation Board and with Community Matters, I work to support education and community impact in Charlotte.At the end of the day, my “why” is simple: I love seeing people succeed, and I thrive on creating the space, programs, and strategies that make that possible.
