ABOUT SARAH PRICE

I am a successful entrepreneur and a single parent to a young adult son and three school-aged children.I discovered the world of self-employment after my eldest son was born in 2005, when going back to my previous office job was out of the question as I had moved to be closer to family. But that\'s when I put my Master’s degree in Translation that I had achieved a year or so earlier to good use. It was a steep learning curve in 2005 as a first-time parent, a first-time entrepreneur and a first-time professional translator. However, I built up a thriving translation business relatively quickly which worked around my growing family and everything ran relatively smoothly in life and business for many years. But fast forward to 2017 and my reality changed drastically overnight when my husband and I separated. I wondered how I was ever going to manage to juggle tight work deadlines and raising four young children. My life had been unexpectedly turned upside down, but as much routine as possible, including the rigorous work deadlines, is what helped me through those difficult times.Over the last few years, the demand for (human) translation has slowed due to factors such as Brexit and AI. I also needed to put my career on the back burner for a while to attend to family matters.However, I put all the extra time spent at home during the Covid-19 pandemic to good use by taking part in remote training to qualify as a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), a Master Breakthrough Coach and a Narcissistic Abuse Specialist. I am now combining these qualifications with the personal experience and knowledge that I have acquired over almost a decade of the separation and divorce process, as well as coparenting, to set up in business as a divorce mentor and coach to middle-aged women.As it is wise to have a secondary income in this day and age, I have partnered with multi-services provider Utility Warehouse to build a side income by helping UK residents to save on their essential energy, mobile, broadband and home insurance bills and potentially also earn a side income themselves.
